- Carotid arteries: These are the arteries in your brain. Blocked carotid arteries cause severe headaches, dizziness, sudden falls, paralysis and problem speaking.
- Coronary arteries: These heart arteries can cause chest pain when clogged. Also known as angina, the symptom feel like a heavy pressure in the chest, and/or in the arms, shoulders, neck or jaw. Irregular heartbeat and problem breathing can also happen.
