This beauty trick has been passed on for a while now, but we still can’t get used to it somehow. Even after the claims that it was Marylin Monroe’s secret to a perfectly exfoliated face.

But did that encourage people? Well some are still scared to reach for that frightening razor, and some are definitely up for the challenge.

And such is the case with Rochelle Wick, a Sri Lanka-based beauty vlogger with an Instagram account followed by more than 250k people. It’s right there in her video, she just picks up a razor (well, actually, first she shows us her awesome contact lenses, but okay) and goes for it. Bye-bye hair, bye-bye fuzz, it’s all ready for some more product and perfect makeup application.

HOW I REMOVE FACIAL HAIR ; SHAVING! 😱😰😨 ______________________________________________ Contact lenses are Solotica Ocre from @boulonguise. An in-depth YouTube video regarding shaving will follow soon! If you have any questions be sure to DM them to me so I can include them in my video 🙂 Since I will be filming the YouTube video I'm not going to discuss too much here but I just wanted to share with you guys my facial shaving routine. I've been shaving my face for about 4-5 years and it's the best thing I've ever done for my face! The benefits of shaving are endless! Not only does it remove peach fuzz, but it also exfoliates your skin, makes your makeup go on much more smoother and also helps the aging process especially since any products you use will be absorbed better to your skin. FACIAL HAIR DOES NOT GROW BACK THICKER ; UNLESS, you have a hormonal Imbalance of some sort. It's not possible for facial hair to grow back thicker (in a normal healthy woman). Hair will grow at the same rate. shaving therefore is NOT for everyone. Make sure to do a test patch before proceeding. ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ The REASON I use a razor instead of an eyebrow razor is because a regular razor is obviously sharper than an eyebrow razor. Sharper the blades, cleaner the cut. An eyebrow razor will usually leave a very blunt cut (which makes the hair appear darker) ______________________________________________ #rochellewick #wakeupandmakeup #allmodernmakeup #hudabeauty #makeupfanatic1 #laurag_143 #slave2beauty #makeupgeekcosmetics #1minutemakeup #makeuptutorialsx0x #lagirlcosmetics #hypnaughtymakeup #hypnaughtypower #makeuphack #hudabeautywintersolstice #anastasiabeverlyhills #makeupbymario #brian_champagne #fakeupfix #peachyqueenblog #hudabeautyobsessions #srilankan #shophudabeauty #hairmakeupdiary #srilanka

What do you say, have you tried this? If not, would you? They also say it helps with better product absorption, whether it’s makeup or moisturizers and serums… But we don’t really know… Convince us maybe?
